Move from the Trial installation

Q: I've purchased the license after I tested the 21day free Trial. How to preserve all changes and content from the test installation?

 

A: It is higly suggested to re-install the script using Standard/Professional/Developer package instead of overriding files.

To save the content of your test site (articles, categories, users, comments), you should firslty create a back-up that you will import later to your new clean installation. Go to Administration -> Maintenance -> Create backup, and later FTP that backup to VIVVO_ROOT/backup folder. Then, just restore the database in Administration -> Maintenance -> Restore database.

Make sure to copy entire /files folder from old to new Vivvo installation. This will restore your uploaded files and images. Also, if you applied any changes to template files or CSS, copy /templates and /themes folder or only .tpl and .css files that you played with.
