How to apply the patch?

Q: I've downloaded the latest patch from my client area but I'm not sure how to install it on my site.

 

A: You need to upload downloaded files to your server via FTP and overwrite existing files. This usually takes few minutes. Make sure to back-up your data before applying the patch. If you upgrade from v4.0.1 to v4.0.3, then you will have to apply the v4.0.2 patch first.
