First you need to edit templatesxhtmlboxdhtml_menu.tpl by moving this code:
right after  (should be around line 10).
Now you have your static pages and category pages in same line and you just
need to remove include for pages.tpl from your header template
(templatesxhtmlboxheader.tpl):
