Also for the 4.5 release include an alternative 2 column home page (tpl) template as the default with rotating headlines taking up space in the big main column please.

Thumbs up Good job!

Great upgrade with many welcomed features.

I tested it on fresh installation. Works smoothly but found some issues and shortcomings:

1. Accessing the Plug-ins page from the back-end shows blank page
2. Widget templates section is not operational
3. Tags management are not easy or powerful enough
4. The Users Management has not changed much from the previous version: no news/articles integration with user accoutns as promised, no security image for user registration, no advanced editing/management options, no newsletter integration, etc., unless you plan to make it as separate plug-in
5. Admin back-end showing "Done, but with errors on page" in IE7/8 in all pages

We are all waiting to see even more options and surprises in the final release.

Keep up the good work

How does one set an article as 'headline'? There isn't an option

To set article as headline, you need to tag it with two system tags:
  1. Homepage
  2. Headline

There will also be an option "Mark as headline" in final version.

I found one issue
You cannot upload Abstract image using firefox. I am using 3.6.3
When I used IE, I was able to upload.

Check for Flash versions in FF and IE, see what comes out:

Would you be so kind to explain how the new licensing/pricing terms will affect existing license holders? I own a DEV license and a couple of Standard licenses.

What will the price for upgrades be? As my current DEV license has expired support, I'm very much interested if it will be better for me to upgrade before or after the new licensing/pricing terms will apply.

Same question for Standard license. We well benefit from free upgrade to Professional edition, as Standard license will be discontinued. Professional costs $295, Standard was $195. What will be the price for upgrade? Now it's $85 for 1 year.

It would be perfect to get a price/feature comparison - http://www.vivvo.net/comparison.php - so we could decide if we should hurry and upgrade or not.

Thank you for support and for all the improvments in the new version!
