I have also noticed that if a person forgets their password or username then there is no way for them to have that password emailed to them.
Please understand my feelings towards this and I do not mean any disrespect, but that is one poorly designed system! Common sense would tell anyone that is exactly the case.
Everyone at one time forgets their username and/or password. To not provide a system for a reminder by supplying an email address makes no sense at all. I have put a lot of time into this script and a lot of money for custom work. You people have designed a nice looking script and I have appreciated the good customer support when submitting a support ticket, but in some areas your brains must have been out to lunch. I have paid $75 an hour for custom work when I wonder if my own doctor makes that kind of money. I have not minded doing so, but I sure don’t want to have to pay for something extra that by common sense should be there in the first place.
Every time I have mentioned something that I know is not right I have been chastised for it. When in reality you people should be more understanding to customer’s common sense concerns instead of trying to cover your own asses. If I sound a little frustrated and mad, then you bet I am, but with very could reason when something so simple and important has been left out of this script and then you explain yourselves with terms like “unique for our system.” That does not cut it. The average person who is purchasing this script has a lot more smarts then that and should be treated with more respect and understanding. If you left an important part out, then just say that you have made a mistake and it will be corrected in a coming version, but don’t talk down to your customers because no one is going to leave their brains park elsewhere and buy such hogwash.
