Feature Questions

I am helping a client choose and install an article management system. We have a few questions regarding your product.

1. Can you upload an article that is already a HTML page (existing articles) or do you have to use a URL link to a page within the web site?

2. Is there any way of automating the upload of existing articles?

3. Does the license allow the installation on a staging server that is not connected to the internet as well as the production server?

4. Will the search engine look into URL links and upload PDF files or just look in the summary and content?

5. How much will support and upgrades cost after the first 3 months?

6. When will the archiving feature be added?

1. Of course, WYSIWYG editor allows cut and paste of full HTML page
2. In terms of bulk upload - no. You have to upload every respective article manually
3. Yes, if you will install it on additinal server that is not connected to internet, than purchasing one license is enough
4. Search engine does not crawl uploaded documents and PDF files. However, this is a good point - we will consider this for future releases.
5. Upgrades to all future versions after 3 months is $39 USD.
6. Very soon.
