Flash media not working

I try to insert a flash media in articales its not schowing if i import a avi or a mpeg its working perfect do i need to put in a directory a flvplayer or whats wrong?

I've just tested this.
First I uploaded a flash file on my server, than insert it via "Insert/edit embedded media" button inside my article and it works perfectly.

Not sure what might be the problem, did you set width and height of your flash file?
This may be the problem.

But if i want to import a flash file from a other site its not working ?

Got it working because you need .swf files is it possible to import .flv files ?

I think that .flv files requires player.

On most websites (Youtube, Google video...) you have embed field with code.
Basically, you need to take only src, width and height value, and embed it in your article using "Insert/edit embedded media".
