Suggestions
I believe Vivvo will have to do a lot of work to make itself a first-choice for news publishers. I manage around a dozen news-related website, including daily newsapapers and weekly and monthly magazines, and after going through the features of Vivvo, I have come to think that Vivvo is lacking in lots of features. My suggestions:
- Special display option for one headline from a certain category so that it could be made into the lead story and thus, a grand and catchy display accordingly.
- Every category (along with admin-selectable number of headlines and option of short intro) should be an independent, moveable entity so that it could be placed anywhere on the frontpage.
- A separate section of Latest News which display real-time news update.
- A breaking-news section.
- Weather information box
- Paragraphs should have gap of one line and MUST not start from the very next line once one paragraph ends. Vivvo must be able to convert one "return" into two to solve this issue.

Great comments, thanks a lot. With regards to weather information box - you can easily add one yourself, there is ton of weather feed channels out there. We probably won't clutter Vivvo with external content like weather, stock, currency, etc.

"Clutter" is probably not the right word here. The thing is that you don't know what a potential customer would be looking for and there are real possibilites that he may choose not to get Vivvo just because of that one feature which you think is not required. I understand that providing more options is better than not providing one and assuming that it may not be required. It should ONLY be the customer to decide what is required and what not. If he doesn't like one option, he simply turn it off and that's gone. But if one is required by him and it does not exist, your customer is gone. In my humble opinion, more options means more attraction for a product like Vivvo. Thanx for bearing me

I wouldn't completely agree on this. If someone is reluctant to purchase Vivvo just because it doesn't have a weather box - then I guess I just don't need that customer
I fully understand your point of view - features are important. It's just that what you suggested in particular (weather box) is not actually a feature, its a simple include... And as such, there are hundreds of similar includes like weather channels, stock market quotes, currency exchange rates, email notification, etc etc... And all of them are absolutely easy to include in your own copy of Vivvo - this is exactly why I'm saying that we won't include them by default in the bundle. And why I chose the word "clutter".
Besides that, I absolutely agree that Vivvo needs to introduce a variety of real features

Another feature which I haven't seen anywhere but is badly missed by people like me who have to update lots of contents every single day.
Could it be made possible to upload several news iteam, say 10, to a certain category in one go? Like if I am updating a newspaper website and I have to publish 10 sports news items to the category of Sports:
• I select Sports category (in which all the news items will be posted)
• I copy and past headlines and stories in 10 different boxes. Mention the sources and press one submit button once and the entire collection of 10 stories is published in the Sports category.
Thanx

What CMS currently has that? I'd love to take a peek. I don't need it but it would be interesting to see how it works.

There is hardly any programe left that I haven't tested. I have'nt seen this feature anywhere. Is Vivvo going to be the first the have that?
I don't know what Vivvo developers will think of it, but from a webmaster's point of view who has to upload an entire edition everyday without fail, this would be dream-com-true feature.
