Articles Imported Through Feed Importer Not Showing in site RSS

Articles that we are importing via the feed importer are not being listed in our outbound rss feeds.

When we upgraded to 4.7 we had issues with these articles not showing within the category, but Vivvo support sent us code to modify in our {VIVVO_ROOT}/templates/xhtml/category/default.tpl file that fixed the problem.

Is there a similar fix for the RSS, and if so, where are the files that generate this? The "feed" directory that appears in the URL is dynamic and does not exist on the server.

In your {VIVVO_ROOT}/templates/_syndication/rss2.0.tpl try to use:

<vte:params>
  <vte:param name="search_sort_by" value="created" />
</vte:params>

Paste the above code after this line:

<vte:box module="box_article_list" params="{content_params}">
