Contact author feature

It's a while since I've read posts about a "contact author" option being added in the next release but this doesn't seem to have become a reality.

I think that our case is not isolated: We use Vivvo for press release and news publication and it's extremely important that our readers can somehow contact the authors of the news publications.

Is there any talk of this becomming a reality?

If you have form builder plugin this is doable by building a contact form for each author and then loading up correct form by doing check against author-id. We have done this on one site and screenshot of part of article page attached. This can be included on any template where author-id can be checked.
