ticker conflicts

the ticker conflict on pages where "plugin_image_gallery_stripe" and "box_entertainment_stripe".


i did renamed both in the: ticker.tpl:
class="scroller"
and
class="section"
results is the ticker stopped scrolling.

any idea what exactly needs to be change so the ticker works without any conflicts at all ?

Hm, what kind of issues you had with ticker and gallery stripes?

Class scroller and section might result in conflict within CSS styles only, not with functionality of the widget itself.

I have been testing image gallery stripe and default ticker widgets on the same page on my test installation with default template set, and they both work just fine without any conflicts at all.

pls note that : "plugin_image_gallery_stripe" and "box_entertainment_stripe" not effected only the ticker.

From what I can see, the ticker doesn't work here either, so I wouldn't say that there's a conflict with image gallery stripe.

Could be million reasons...
Some JS code that you might placed somewhere, browser cache, vivvo cache...

the problem was related to css.

in the ticker css this class should be like this:
.ticker .section {height:30px; width: 100%; text-align:right; direction:rtl;}

it is working fine now


however, any idea where to adjust the ticker speed?

this.glider = new Glider(this.element, {duration:0.5});

It should be this line, try changing it, and remember to empty both your browser and Vivvo cache before testing if this works.
