Changing Username

I have a user that wants to change her username. It does not let me or the user do it. How can I change it?

Username cannot be changed.

Only option is to do it directly in MySQL database, but I wouldn't advise that. Perhaps you can create new user account, and transfer all existing articles to new user, hence delete old name.
