Has anyone moved their Vivvo site to Wordpress?

I am thinking of moving one of my Vivvo sites over to Wordpress and was wondering if anyone has achieved doing so.

Hi Berto,

I presume you want to move everything to pages and posts with maximum automation?

One client has requested moving site to WP for the most trivial reason; the Vivvo poll can be manipulated by fraudsters simply by clearing cache and voting again - and no inclination on the part of Vivvo to fix such a simple issue.

IMHO, WP and plugin developers have made such huge strides in the last 18 months, it's becoming hard to promote Vivvo, despite the nice CMS/editor's features and possibly the security advantages (small installed base . . . ).

Luckily, the site was still in late dev status, so not much content to move.

Best of luck.

We did it after the license key changes but it was a rebuild from the ground up, not a migration. Wordpress is a good app but I do miss working with Vivvo. It's sad to see how slow these boards have become over the last year. :(

The boards are pretty much dead, I hardly see the Vivvo team interacting in the forums.

Hope things change for 2012

You can include me on that one. I use to be able to ask a question and get a reply.. Now I have issues with no replies. Very sad.. Merry Christmas by the way.

actually this was not the best year for vivvo. since they released 4.5, they have been so silent and unwilling.

Over a year ago I came to Vivvo from Interspire that had NO support. I was very happy to see the support they had here. But now very sad to where it's going.

I agree, it looks sad here since last year, almost no updates, no bug fixes for many important issues, no action in forums. very sad.

This works fine but your not getting your images (exept images inside the article). It would be nice to get the abstract image in Vivvo to be the featured image in WP. Then it would be no problem to move. It has to an mysql-issue or something ...
Has anybody manage to move from Vivvo to WP? Do anyone know how to get the abstact image in Vivvo to be the featured image in WP?
