I believe you're giving yourself too much importance. The world isn't spinning around you, no matter what your mama told you.
Shame on you, both.

It's a conspiracy theory andy, i would say CIA, Mossad and KGB joined forces to praise Vivvo CMS in spite all unbelievers around here :D

Since I know Chris quite well (original poster of the thread), and know their organization's website quite well, as they migrated to Vivvo, here's a little proposition to you.
I show you their stats after moving to Vivvo, and you come back here in public and tell everyone that you're really, really, dumb. How about that?
Jeez, when did you guys turn into such trolls and h8rs, anyway?

It's funny how you need to be speaking on behalf of legger, Alex. ;) Who coincidentally didn't have anything to add to the discussion. But now surely he will reply in the next second! Lol.
By the way, we've all noticed that spammers usually only have one or two posts to their name. And coincidentally (again), legger has two. :)
Okay, tell us about that famous website now.

And mad props to you andy, for defending vivvo like a blind soldier!

Hmmm.. probably since your support went completely downhill and since you started preventing people from downloading software that they paid for. Oh wait, you've always prevented us from doing that. So if someone loses his license key or original downloaded product, he has to pay $$$ again. Is that reason enough for you?

Believe it or not, I also know Chris (legger), and yes, he's an actual person, not a spam bot. Hell, I even worked on that "famous" website.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Vivvo, nor I'm speaking in behalf of legger, but conspiracy theories - c'mon people, you are giving yourself too much credit :)

I see. So, if someone (a client, for example) is not a regular board member and signs up to give us a testimonial as he's a very satisfied customer, than he's obviously a spam or fraud. And I guess he needs to report to you with his URL, ID, and blood sample so you can judge & authorize him being genuine or not. Makes sense to me :)

Ok, so let me see if I understand this right. You're unsatisfied because of one policy we have since inception, and on account of that you give yourself a right to troll on every topic on this forum?
As for support going "downhill", I'd really appreciate a point to particular problem you personally had with our support, one where you were not treated as expected and in accord with our SLA standards. I will deal with that to your satisfaction, I promise.
And mad props to you andy, for defending vivvo like a blind soldier!
Oh, as soon as someone doesn't agree with you, but goes with other party he's automatically "a blind soldier".
Sorry dude, but obviously you're just a troll...

Absolutely not. Totally misleading. License key has nothing to do with this.
As long as you have valid license subscription ($85 per year) you have full access to downloads. Loosing anything has nothing to do with it. It is simply the way we do, and lots of other software vendors have same policy - like NOD, for example, or Parallels. They either charge additionally for that service, or through annual subscription.
I can fully understand your frustration with this matter, but that's how things are at the time being. Not saying this won't change in future.
Surprisingly two of my posts were deleted in this thread.

The world is really full of ingrates, isn't it? If I were a troll I wouldn't come back every now and then on this forum and help other users having a hard time with your software/support. So before saying totally misleading stuff about someone like "you troll on every topic on this forum", maybe you should check out my other posts where I've actually replied to and helped others... unless of course you've deleted those posts by now... which wouldn't surprise me anyway!

By the way, I'm still waiting to hear about that "famous" website Alex. Where art thou, Sir?

My experience with cpanel has been excellent. (costs just 15$/mo thru DC)
My experience with litespeed has been excellent. (Costs 15$/Mo thriugh DC)
Both of them show no signs of arrogance even if a customer licensed through data center posts support request directly and they are real quick to respond and take action because they love their clients more than their own code.
Plesk/Parallels i am not a big fan of for simple reason they do have an element of arrogance an many a times knee jerk reaction. I dumped the sitebuilder software of psoft.net just because plesk/parallels took over that company. if i were to chose between plesk and cpanel it would be cpanel anyday.
Good software can meet a bad end just because of arrogance/disdainful attitude.

Actually, those company's will send you the most recent copy of the software in which you paid for. You just can't download it yourself. They do honor the fact that you did pay for something. Not sure if you guys honor that or not, but if you don't, that might just push me away.

We surely do. I don't think anyone who purchased something was denied that particular version, we usually send it via email or similar. The fact is that it is impossible for our CRM to distinguish between assets being available at the time of active subscription and ones that are not. Therefore, clients with license subscription that is not active simply have no access to downloads.
But if a person comes in, who purchased Vivvo 4.0 back at 2008 and asks us for his copy of 4.0 version, he/she will get it with no questions asked.

(1) In fact i don't see any download for Custom work (even if that amounts to one modified/new file). So what happens if i lose the custom work files and under what SLA terms are these available in case of any such eventuality?
(2) Additionally the ticketing system has no provision for attaching attachments? This is one reason why i post here on forum many times.
In any case in all probability i wouldn't be asking for any files if i don't have an active subscription.

We keep all the customizations on drives so you can obtain in regardless of your license subscription status.
