I'm sure you come from Interspire/ArticleLive ;)

You can't do that per se. What you can do is place two 300x250 ads right after the abstract. I did that and it works great :)

This is nice solution.

But, for example, google adsense do not allow to put ads near images.

Have you solved such a problem or you just dont use google adsense?

I use Google Adsense itself. That's not a problem. Here's a screenshot of how the top part of a random article on my site looks like.
