I have read through your excellent documentation manuals, and simply need a bit of clarifation on these issues. Thank you!

- If I'm using a premade Vivvo template, is the creation of the navigation automatic? (In other words, if I add a new category or subcategory, is it automatically added to the navigation, or is that something I have to do manually?)

- I see that SUBcategories are unlimited in number. Is there a limit to the number of CATEGORIES a site can have?

- If a category or subcategory is deleted, what happens to the articles in that category? Do they automatically get moved to a 'general' category?

- Is it possible to have another layer of permissions for writers? In addition to WRITER, I need "Contributor" (or something like that). For my purposes, I need WRITERS to be able to add articles to any category pending review, but "CONTRIBUTORS" would only be able to add articles to ONE category pending admin review. People registering would have automatic 'Contributor' status (ideally) WRITERS will have a 'bio page', Contributors will not.

- Can the template for articles be changed? (I want to hard code Ad banner code into the body/text of the article that is visible when a visitor reads an article). I read the section in your Plug In manual about Banner Management, but it doesn't look like it supports Google Adsense code, since that is javascript. (am I correct about that?)

- Is IP Banning available for comments/registration?

- How are feeds generated? Is there ONE feed that includes articles from all categories? Or is there a different feed for each category?

- On Page 18 of your Plug In Manual, there is a descripton of the Newsfeed Importer. It says that the importer will result in my site displaying the: title, summary, and link to original webpage.

However, on Page 18, there is an image displayed. Is the image pulled from the feed?

How many charaters of the article will be displayed in the summary?

Can I manually delete any articles?

Was this page from your demo posted by the Importer? http://www.myvivvo.com/Business/IRS-cracks-down-on-charity-cheats.html

- When adding STREAMING MEDIA to an article, what appears in the article? Is it a link for visitors to click on? I'm unclear from reading page 22 in the Plug In Manual. Can embed script from sources like Brightcove or You tube be used in articles?

- What is your typical turnaround time for support tickets?

- If I purchase your developer package, what are the times that phone support is available?

1. This is not feasible to be performed as a custom project, because Vivvo 4.0 will have very different middle-tier structure that allows cross-navigation (categories, tags, keywords...) Vivvo 4.0 is scheduled for release in mid-August.

2. The system will slow down at approx. 50.000 articles. With individual fine-tuning and optimization (can be performed as a custom work under dev. license), it can extend up to 100.000 articles.

3. Not at the moment. However, you can have several admins that can handle user-interventions and related work.

4. Yes, that can be doable. Not out of the box, but via customization without much problems.

5. Dev. customization credit refers for both design and programming. With regards to programming - amending/modifying 3rd party scripts, or any non-Vivvo related programming work is excluded.

6. Yes, it is fully automatic.

7. No, there are no limits in technical terms. But good usability concept is not to have too much categories.

8. No, they become unavailable.

9. Yes, you're correct. No need for AdWords inside Banner Management, you can simply copy/paste AdSense JS code directly in article template.

10. Not at the moment, it will be in next version.

11. What will be pulled from the feed depends only from the source (publisher). If the source published full article, Importer will fetch full article. The shot from the manual is merely an image from the site, not Importer.

12. Streaming Media embeds the video directly in page, so it streams very much like YouTube.

MY QUESTION: - If a category or subcategory is deleted, what happens to the articles in that category? Do they automatically get moved to a 'general' category?

YOUR RESPONSE:
8. No, they become unavailable.

Just so I'm clear on what you mean by 'unavailable'...

Do they get deleted from the Vivvo database?

Or are they temporarily unavailable to be read by visitors to the website, pending the Admin moving the articles to an active category?
