vb login & search not working

I've just installed the latest version (3.5) as a fresh install. I already had an established vbulletin forum on my server. In the vivvo admin section I have configured the vb login plugin with the url & root and I have included the {VB_FORUM_BOX} tag in my index template. When I click login it still takes me to the vivvo login page & there is no information showing up in the 'Latest Forum Discussions' box on my front page? Also search does not work on my site? I can cut and paste the title of an published article into the search box and get no results?? Can anyone help please. Thanks, Ad.

You can place {VB_LOGIN_BOX} tag in your index.tpl (or anywhere you want) and remove standard Vivvo login from header.tpl

that does work, but it's not really the solution i'm looking for. any idea why the threads aren't showing up in the vb box?

OK some more info. - i've included the {VB_FORUM_BOX} on my index page. when i got to my site in ie7 i get a message at the bottom of the page 'Done, but with errors on page'. When I click for more info i get a pop up box.

I installed everything as was explained by you. This function was one of the main reasons I bough this cms. I've sent this problem as a support request days ago, but never heard anything back. Can you please give me some help here!!!!

Did you enable External Javascript in your vBulletin administration?
