is it too slow or ?

hi vivvo team,

I upgraded my site fully from 3.2 to 3.5. before upgrading my site was working normally fast and there were no problems but as soon as İ began using it it locked the server and generally this happens. its almost impossible to work.

what do you think about this? it really annoying

This indicates problem with MySQL server, you should contact your Server Admin.

but before there was no problem...? it happened after upgrading to 3.5

I dont know what do you think about my problem but I m really in a bad position now. I have passed to 3.5 saturday and since that day everybody is really bad. the users of my servers and the visitors of our sites...

it is generally locked and gives problems. I closed the seo friendly mod to make the site faster and relax buıt it seems it doesnt help. My server says that the load rises to 70s even though it have to work at 7-8...

I m sure my new site makes all of this trouble because before upgrading there were no problems like these..

what do you think the problem could be? a big database and visitors? there are nearly 1300 articles ,on my database and nearly at least 1000 visitors per a day. or maybe something could be wrong with my database?

I really need help. tomorrow is (today) my site will be a year old and I think I wont be happy althoug I upgraded to Vivvo 3.5...

Post a link to your site, or send it to me via PM and I can see if I see anything that stands out... It may be a server issue with the upgrade being a coincidence.

Did you change databases, maybe the new database is on a different server that is having issues.

Probably a coincidence, as @zwenthe said.

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket means that there is a problem not on relation Vivvo -> MySQL, but on relation Apache -> MySQL. Use google to find out more about this. As suggested earlier - contact your Server Admin, he can do much more help than us.

but what I want to say is if there were problems with the server, there should have been before upgrading to 3.5. but the go wown in the server began after upgrading... why dont you think there could be a problem with 3.5? or why the load of the server began rising after upgrading it?

arent there any users of 3.5 having these problems?

It could still be possible that Vivvo is causing problems, but it is most likely a problem with the server.

Did you create new database for 3.5... is that database on a different server by chance?

I would check with the host, and if nothing else, rule the server errors out. Then we'll know what could be happening.

I haven't seen in slowdown in 3.5 yet.
