We are currently in process of evaluation CMS solutions to pick best to fit our needs.

Basically we will require a CMS that:

1) Can support different content types. Meaning article, polls, video posts, custom defined like file upload post with decriptive fields.

2) Can support different views creation. Like displaying tabular format for file upload type of post for example.

3) Can be extedended by custom logic. Example in registeration form, I can add additional fields with associated logic, example mobile number and send SMS message with activation code before actually activating the user profile.

4) Multi-language support.

5) Can have flexible licensing and allow code view/modify where I can use several instances with no further licesing fees.

By the way, what does Vivvo mean ?

1. Vivvo supports content types you mentioned, and more. Articles, pages, blogposts, video, and has ability to work with custom fields (http://www.vivvo.net/resources/articles/tutorials/custom-field-mapping.html).

3. Absolutely. As any other CMS, vivvo is very modular and open towards extending functionality. Adding fields to registration form is very doable and simple.

4. Vivvo has multi-lingual support, both in terms of creating separate structure (http://www.vivvo.net/resources/articles/tutorials/multi-language-in-vivvo.html) for more languages, and having tens of different language packs (http://www.vivvo.net/resources/languages/index.1.html).

5. You can use Developer license for deploying more than one instance (website).


Vivvo is based on latin word vivo, which means to live, be alive. Italian word "vivo" based on same latin root is a mark for tempo in music, btw.
