You need to install vBulletin on your site (for example in /forum folder), and enter the path to the forum on Vivvo Administration -> Plugin Manager - vBulletin
This will enable the forum integration to Vivvo.

This is the question for vBulletin.org, not Vivvo :rolleyes:
I've been messing with this on our Forum, if I recall correctly you need to edit header and footer templates in vB. For more details on customizing style I suggest browsing vB forum.

Where can I find a bridge for phpBB instead of licensing yet another application such as vbulletin?

We have only integration to vBulletin at a moment, but we'll definitely broad the list of supported forums in the future.
If you're wish to have bridge to phpBB now, I suggest trying to find a programmer to do this for you on our Marketplace (http://www.vivvo.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=16) forum, or on some of the freelance sites.

Another undocumented feature is the integration of vBulletin into the Vivvo framework. I would like to integrate vBulletin as a part of the site, but I cannot afford to buy a license before I am completely sure that it would fit in. Practically, I'd like to keep the Vivvo header & footer. The body area would present me a header-and-footerless vBulletin. Can this be done? If yes, how do I include vBulletin (in order to calculate the complexity of this operation)?

I've found it "easy" to integrate the styles. I was able to tune vBulletin to match the exact look and feel of the Vivvo installation. The only difference to the user is it's obvious they are in the Forums because of the content structure.
Understanding the styles and template editor VB uses was the hardest part for me but now that I'm familiar with it I find it actually very nice. Best advice I can give is limit manual editing to your images and so forth. Stick to the built in system and you'll get it. Once you get a handle on that its just like being in a new town, except you kinda know your way around a bit ;)
you should try to make a IPB integration too..

If you wish to add and/or integrate a vBulletin board to your site...yes, you will need to purchase a vBulletin license.
Worth it...I love vBulletin.

if you want to add you Vbulletin forum inside the Vivvo template.
Go to admin/templates create a new catagory template, like ctg_forum.tpl
Then add an Iframe with some code similar to this:
<!-- category_Main.tpl -->
{DUMP_MESSAGE}
{TICKER}
<div id="content" style="padding-top: 0px;"><IFRAME SRC="http://www.yourwebsite.com/forum/index.php" FRAMEBORDER="0" name="newsframe" allowtransparency="true" background-color="transparent" SCROLLING="off" WIDTH="1000" HEIGHT="1850" TITLE=""> News </IFRAME>
</div>
<!-- end category -->
You may want to adjust the width and height to suit your needs.
Once the template is made, you can then create a forum catagory and select the ctg_forum.tpl template to use, and voila.
Good luck
