I was advised of a new update that would fix minor problems with v3.5, I believe scheduled for release last week.
Could you update us on the status of this update please?
Thank you.
Gus
Scheduled for release last week? Where did you get that?
There will be minor bug fix patch (3.51), but not yet. Probably in a week or two.

Precisely - next week, not last week :)

Please: 19/04 + 1week = 26/04 which was last week not next week
You're probably right, but the patch will be out next week :D

After waiting patiently for a month, could someone supply a real sitrep on the upgrade ?
There are various errors (now running with them for a month) which where to be corrected with this upgrade.
As explained in my tickets, I want to resolve various issues, but advised to wait for this update.
As you may understand it is quite difficult to plan any work on our website (or even travel plans) as we are pending this update, which will available "soon".
However we can't keep telling our readers that we will fix our site "soon" every week that passes.
I understand that there will always be unplanned delays, specially in software production, and as you know I have always held Vivvo in my highest regards, and credited you guys on more than one occasion recomending you to new clients who are now using vivvo, but I do feel that in this issue, your clients deserve a bit more respect by providing realistic target dates and not a "check this space" date.
Thank you
Gus

This thread is pretty much telling me to steer away from Vivvo. I was seriously considering a developers license, to use this on all our clients projects.
Since most of us are in the same boat, can anyone recommend a CMS solution?
I have used Exponent CMS in the past, it gets the job done nicely and the admin interface is awesome.

I just purchased and downloaded the package today, but I do not see anywhere that tells me what version I have? Am I missing it, or can someone tell me where to look to make sure my version is up to date.
Thanks

Would you guys really send out a new purchase an older file? Is this the most up to date file? That is weird to me that a purchase made after a patch was released that I would receive an older version to download.....
??

huh, no idea what you downloaded :) contact support for new download link if you wish.
Well I already downloaded the patch, but you would think on a new purchase they would send an updated version so you would not have to patch your software?

No, you didn't understand me. We do send patched software (3.51) to new purchases. That's why I'm surprised you got un-patched version, it was probably some overlap with patched one...
