I've had some issues with this upgrade. Here's what I did and my issue(s)...any help would be appreciated.
I backed up my DB, and used it to create a new DB. Then I created a new folder /newsite41 off my doc root and uploaded the 4.1.0 upgrade files and my hacked templates which I had previously prepared for the upgrade. Then I uploaded my /files folder as well.
Then I went to the /upgrade url and performed the upgrade without any problems (all green checks).
I went to http://www.mydomain.org/newsite41/admin and it would not let me login.
I check both DB's and the usernames and MD5 pwds are identical.
Another issue...I first upgraded my live site before getting stuck as described above...of course the new urls screwed up my redirects in the nagivation menues so I went to reset those to the new hard coded urls and discovered there was no longer a link to "Pages". What happened to the Pages that I created previously????
