Calendar of Events?

I'd like to include a calendar of upcoming sporting events on my website. Are any Vivvo users doing this? Do you have any suggestions for what programs/software are best for this function?

Yes, I'm considering that Millkins, but it looks to be much more complicated than what I want. And truthfully, I hate to pay for a plug-in for something I'd be providing as a community service. ;0)
