Hi all,

I'm starting to get the hang of this. What I need to know is if I can make an "auctions" system in my vivvo. To make it clear, I don't want a mini eBay in my CMS. I'm doing this for my father who is a true lover of fishing and he already has a kinda successful vBulletin board in which, in a special sub-forum, people can sell new and used stuff.

We don't earn nothing from it so it doesn't have to be fancy but we do need a place in the CMS where registered (and verified) people are the only ones allowed to posts "stories" or sales and have a little form so interested people can fill it and be put in direct contact with the seller. Anyone has any ideas on how to do this? It would be AWESOME :D

Thanks in advance!!!

Hmmm, well, you can always create new category called Auctions for example.
Next, you would need to crate new user group in Users section of your administration, allowing them to post articles (or in this case items) in Auctions category.

Read more on creating user groups here

Now, for the contact form, hmmm, perhaps you can allow them to be able to manage Form Builder plug-in (you can also set this when creating new group), however, I don't know if this would be a smart idea - allowing people to freely create forms, not my cup of tea :)
Perhaps the best way for interested people to contact them is just by placing contact e-mail in article or something :)

Hope this helps a bit :)
