Getting Into Google News Tips & Tricks ?

Hi All,

I searched and read few old post regarding getting into google news. I would like to start from scratch what are the tips and tricks to get into google news. I see few people here have there site listed in google news, is there anyone here whose site is listed frequently in google news.

Suggestion are welcome for getting vivvo site in google news REGULARLY. I hope every one here understand the importance of getting listed in google news.

fyi, I am publishing regular conent/news from last 8 months now. But no luck so far to get into google news.

After tooooo many years searching, asking, foruming:rolleyes:, and experimental regarding Google news the ONLY (beleve me) way to indexed a site into GNews is to follow the steps and advices bellow:

1. Your site structure must be in accordance with GNews guidelines (like each article its own page, title, author, date publish e.t.c) but if you use vivvo you dont have to worry about :)

2. Try to have your articles NOT too short NOT too long (above 2 paragraphs and less than 10) this is not "THE RULE" but helps.

3. use paragraphs to your articles

4. Use title that contains words that are present at the first paragraph of article this is not "THE RULE" but helps.

AND NOW the MOST IMPORTANT:
Submit your site to Google News. Contact them to review and submit your site.

I use the following content to my contacts and "works"
Dear Sirs ...blabla.. We manage a site with the following url ...
Our company is a major publish company in our country. The structure meats the criteria to be included to Gnews as we have a newspaper structure with more than one editors and our content updated frequently within the day. so please review and submit our site to GNews...
Something like this :)

and some practical things

- As more frequently submit news so increase the possibilities to submited to GNews

- If you write news that are published also to other newspapers, that help that considered by GN as important

- Use unique text for your News (Not Copy Paste) - rewrite your articles

Sorry to bump this topic, but I have few tips to share as well :)

If your site is new, it can take some time so be patient.
As theodore, have real content.
Also, digg your site, that can get your site indexed really fast.
and build backlinks too.

I am replying after very long time of your posting, because I was stuck with few things.

Thanks for your response. I think I follow all of your suggestion except the last one as I don't have resource to write articles/news I gather it from some news agencies.

Do you have any idea what if google news don't like our site, they advice us to improve our site or simply they reject without any reason and we can't submit again ?

To be honest it is managed by 1 person, but what to write to google news submit form
