The italian language is supported ? Before decide to buy the licensed version i try some not licensed CMS script downloaded from some not very legal site just for decide what is the best CMS for my application. ( EvoArticle, ArticleLive 2005v2 and phpWordPress 2.6.0 ). The best for my site is your product (easy, fast and clear....congratulations !!!).

But i found a problem....the italian language is not supported apparently...

For example if i write in the article manager page:

in the main page i read:

I talked with the server manager and this is the reply:

"It appears to be a collation problem with the database. Did you specify Italian language during the installation of the CMS? "....."Well, it appears that the CMS system does not support Italian. Please, heck if it has some way to import Italian language or if there is some option for language change in its control panel. "

Ok now i decided to buy the licensed version but before i want your confirmation about the italian support !

thx

Enrico,

It's always nice to hear you're better then the competition :) As for version you tried - early beta of 2.6.0 is all over warez sites, so no wonder these things don't work. I just tested Italian on our playground (with the 3.0 version, of course), and here is the output:

My italian is not quite "molto bene", but I hope this is what you're looking for

ok, but the problem persist in the PDF and PRINT versions....

NUOVA DELHI - Tre esplosioni in luoghi
capitale dell'India New Delhi e causato almeno 55 morti e 152 feriti.
braccia strappati dalle esplosioni.

All special char---> à = ù and è = è

This problem is not only a problem for italian but also for french, german, spanish and all language with particular char :(
