already success install but problem with content

hello all, glad to read this forum.

anyway i'm plan to buy vivvo CMS for my client project, i already download the trial and setup it with ioncube.

after all done and database already setup, i found that the main index page in http://localhost/index.php can show, but when i click to the news from it show the error like "The page cannot be displayed"

to all please inform me how to solve this problem, since we're plan to use Vivvo too in our production site.

sounds like mod_rewrite issue to me. Try turning off friendly URLs from Preferences.

btw if i want to use friendly URL, should i change the .htaccess file ? or modified php.ini for mod_rewrite ?

please inform me how to do that.
