Does it mean that when I purchase with the price $195, you'll pay back $50 to me? How can I give that $50?

Oh, so you should put the time information in that news and restate the status of the promotion project :D

This promotion is valid until the end of the current recession.

This deal should still be going on then. But according to another reply here the deal is over with. Why is that? The recession has not ended, in fact it is getting worse every day with no end in sight.

Open source 5.0 version was an April fools' joke, there won't be any open source version, well, at least not for a long time, and not from us :)

As for the Professional license, we have ongoing promotion called "Vivvo Pro Squared" where you get two professional licenses for $395.

You can get more info on this here:

I forget poisson d'avril, in Americas does not exist.

Thank you, big save really, but I need only one license, no time to manage many sites, I have some already.

If any offer please send Email

i joined this forum before purchasing this script to make sure that other users are having success with it and this is the first post to catch my attention.

shouldn't this be deleted?

also, you said "This promotion is valid until the end of the current recession." the recession still exists!!!! you're reneging for what reason?

not a very good first impression!

We don't have a habit of deleting threads around here, unless spam :)

This promotion is over, correct. And recession is as well, at least over here in Europe :D

Amm, not in Lithuania (which will hit the complete rock bottom on next month) or Latvia which is completely in the abyss.

Next time you make a promotion be more careful because this time technically it backfired.

I'm just pointing out all this as a technicality, not that I appreciate you making promotions and such offers. Just be more careful next time. ;)

as someone with an MBA in Economics, the recession is not over. in europe or elsewhere. the decline has eased but just because forecasts are better than expected doesn't mean the reality doesn't suck.

you should've specified your sale better from the beginning and if you happened to change your mind, fine, but don't leave the post up. that's idiotic and it really pisses off potential buyers. i've been on the fence about purchasing this script all day and trust me, if you honored your word about offering the rebate, i would've purchased even though it probably would've ended up in my script graveyard.

i mean imagine walking by a store and seeing a huge FOR SALE banner in the window. you run into the store, grab the item, rush to the counter and the worker tells you, "sorry, we're no longer running that sale."

really? then why do you have the freakin banner in the window jacka**?

Well, I wouldn't compare a forum thread with a window store.

While the promotion was active, it was heavily advertised in our window store (a.k.a. home page), RSS feeds, newsletter alerts, etc. However, I do understand your point, so I edited initial post and thread title so it doesn't confuse future visitors. Thanks for pointing out.

As for recession, I can split this thread if you want so we can continue discussion about it separately :)

from the same article...

But she warned that growth was "still very fragile".

"Investment is down, we still have surprisingly low stock levels, and growth is boosted by the fact that imports fell sharply," she added.

---

learn how to interpret the numbers and you realize, growth can be a false positive in the short-term. when you have less to sell and people are purchasing less, but you sell all of what little you have left when people do happen to purchase from you, it'd appear as if stock was flying off of your shelves...your EMPTY shelves.

but let's say you're correct. look at the date of the post...

which means that your promotion should've been active last week but you ended how long ago? so either way, you're wrong  :( :p

but thanks for having sense enough for changing the title of this thread.

Hi there, I have been using WP and PHP for some time and have heard some good things about Vivvo. I wanted to know if a promotion like this would come around again? I want to test this out some more (other then on my friends system as that gets to be annoying for him!) Do you have a newsletter/offers list?

Thanks, we'd love to see you on board. I think we will have promotions going on late July/early August (as it is our anniversary). You can signup to our newsletter (at the bottom of our website - http://www.vivvo.net/), or subscribe to this forum's RSS.
