Installation problem

Hello everybody and to the excellent staff of Vivvo.
Above all, sorry for my bad english, I'm french :D
here is my problem :
When i want to start the installation, i have an error 500...
I am obliged to change the contents of .htaccess. I must write "php 4" or "php5" in these files to have the installation and not the error 500.
Afer this, the installation starts and I'm happy :D (the installer say me that my server has PHP, mod rewrite, GD, rewrite files, files...) but... when at the end, when i click to have the Vivvo administration or the homepage, i have this error in a blank page :

Fatal error: Class 'HTTP_Session_Container_MDB2' not found in /mnt/166/sda/4/1/radiopsg/lib/vivvo/framework/PEAR/HTTP/Session.php on line 129

I don't understand why. :( (Perhaps a problem with APACHE and my french server ?!)

Look after this... when i do the check..
It's a problem with my server ?!
I must host my website to an american host ?
It's very difficult to install vivvo for the french people... :(

The problem should be solved simply by enabling ini_set() on your server. Can you please point this out to your server administrator so he/she can enable ini_set() for you?

Thank you for your reply. I have just sent an e-mail to the administrator of the server. And for the problem of the .htaccess? Have you an opinion ?

I have my answer..
The function php_ini is forbidden at my host...
It's terrible :(:(:(
I must find an other host.
Function php_ini is forbidden at 1&1 too ? 1&1 exists in FRANCE.
