please answer me so i upgrade to professional version of vivvo

hello..

i am intrested now in upgrading from Standard to Professional License.

what i know that the difference between standard and professional is that the standard comes with (no caching and advanced search capabilities).

1- now i want the designer to make me a theme/template... let's say the designer finished my standard edition theme.

2- and then i want to upgrade to the professional edition.

3- sine i have professional edition now it means that there are caching and advanced search capabilities.. which is good.

but do i need to go to desinger again and tell him, to redesign the theme again because now i have the advance search module + caching module ??? should i redesign the theme again??

or the system is automatic, don't care about how many new modules i add... meaning modules and theme design are seperare???

please answer me so i can buy with no problems.

Upgrading won't affect your design. The advanced search template is the only place that the new design will need to be applied, and this may not even need to be done, depending on the design.

well that means that i can upgrade from the standard version to the professional, and the only thing that would be needed to be redesigned is the advance search template.

well great.. are you sure that template would be the only template to be done later on? I just need confirmation regarding this issue.

Your upgrade from standard to professional license wont affect the template. So you can safely upgrade. :D
If advanced search template needs to be changed you will get instructions on how to change it.

It really depends on your design, but it's unlikely that you'll have to change the template. Go ahead and upgrade.

Hey guys .. thanks for your help..

I guess that I should just upgrade to the professional version. and then ask the designer to do me a template/theme design. it's because i don't want to risk paying much.. I'm not sure i can afford the designer twice.. so I'd just deal with him one time and pay him his money. :)

is this theme full? i mean does it work probably or it's being developed right now and so on we should wait for it.

I see it works only with the professional eddition.

so what about the modules also that are used within this module.. are they finished.. should i use them all as listed, or wait until they get upgraded and fully ready to be used without any problems...

Well, the title basically says it all.

One MyVivvo template set w/ database dump and multimedia files comes preloaded with complete database dump and files (images, videos, etc.) .

One MyVivvo template set is just template set without multimedia files and database.

You mean by that this theme, comes with the needed modules ( are they the multimedia files? )..? and it also comes with the database info needed for the modules?

Some of the plugins are not fully compatible with Vivvo 4.1 yet, so I recommend you wait for another week or two before using OneMyVivvo template with 4.1

Okay.. i will wait.. but i hope there will be any announcement regarding this template, because as i think it's the best template for vivvo CMS.

it would be so helpful of you tell me what plugins are not compatible with 4.1?

If you visit the plugins area of the resources section (vivvo.net), you'll see the plugins that have been upgraded. Anything not there has not yet been upgraded.

1- let's say i've run this Review plug-in for 4.0.x on 4.1, and i kept using it for a while, until the new version Review plug-in is ready to be used with 4.1, so can i update later on?

2- when the review plug-in will be fully ready for Vivvo CMS 4.1? how soon that is?

Hello again, thanks for replay.

With all respect, I asked couple of questions up there, last questions weren't answered, or else i wouldn't keep asking.

I am not requesting support for that template, i said i want to buy professional edition, and the only reason that would make me buy the professional edition is that theme, so if you understand me, I want to put my money in this Professional edition if only this template worth it.

Please close this thread, it causes big misunderstanding for nothing.

I absolutely understand you - and I'm glad if that theme is the reason you're considering upgrade to Professional.

However, we cannot speed things up more at this point and make everything with that theme 100% compatible. But we will definitely give our best to do that is short notice, as fast as we can.
