Which is the best forum to be used with vivvo?

I think about installing a forum script, and integrating it in vivvo, but i don't kinda know which one should i chose: vb?ipb?phpbb?

any ideas? :D

I have three sites with IPB forums. I think VB is better for Vivvo though

Any paid forum is better for security reasons, other than that they all work fine with the Vivvo plugins. For looks, I prefer PHPBB3. IPB is probably the best paid forum, though, but more expensive than VB (which has a LOT of add-ons.)

Why do you like IPB over vB? Just wondering , I never used IPB...

VB doesn't seem to evolve much, even though they upgrade features. It's still the same, clunky admin interface as earlier versions. There are just a lot of things I don't like about the system in general (a lot of old code.) The big upside of VB is the user community, but that's only if you want to mod the heck out of it.

Another issue is security. There are a LOT more ppl hacking VB :)

Having used vB for 5 years I can't say I agree with the comment that it does not evolve. With version 4 around the corner it has come a long way.

i'd go with IPB, I used phpBB 2/3 series and then evaluated both VB and IPB - IPB won completely. Tons of mods, addons, functions, stability, I could go on and on. :)
