Ok, Firstly.. i prefer the old style template and is it possible to use the old one? if so can it be downloaded anywhere?

Secondly i am trying to fix the size of the entire site to 800px wide. I have managed to modify the headder, footer and index.tpl files so that they are now 800 wide but articles, author, news categories etc.etc... are still busting the table back to 980px.

I also need to modify the scrolling news bar and make the text fit neatly into the space.

http://www.news.vanhire.com
http://news.vanhire.com/News/ ( error in width )

also i am getting an error: Warning: mysql_fetch_assoc(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/vanhire/public_html/news/plugins/streaming_media/info.php on line 39

This is also possiblly affecting the calendar that looks pretty damaged.

Hope that this is an interesting enough post.

Submit a ticket to support, I think we can send you the old template set... it can't be downloaded live.

You need to modify article_full.tpl and category_main.tpl as well.

With regards to the mysql errors, no idea what this can be. Submit a ticket with your access info to support.
