Hi everyone.

We're looking to setup a forum and a classifieds system on our site and i was wondering if i could pick your brains :) ...

Re: Forums.
I see that there are Vivvo bridges available for vBulletin, phpBB and Invision Power Board. I was wondering which would be the better option in terms of compatibility with Vivvo and ease of use. If any of you have used the above with Vivvo i'd appreciate your thoughts/experiences/opinion.

Re: Classifieds
Have any of you installed Classifieds systems on your sites that work well with Vivvo. If you have then please let me know.

Look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers and all the best
Enrique

Classifieds:

ikiClassifieds (http://www.ikiclassifieds.com) is pretty cool. I tried it myself.

There is a free version you can try.

Hope it helps !

I guess he was asking about classified software that works well with Vivvo.

Thanks for your suggestion Martin - did you install it to run with Vivvo?

Yup Andy, i don't want to choose some solution that doesn't then work well with Vivvo. Not that i fully understand what i mean by "works well" :-) - i suppose that's why i'm posting, to see what others have experienced.

as forum, if you are creating your vivvo database from zero, you can use phpbb3 database easily. it gets the users from phpbb3 database.

What about PhotoPost Classifieds? It completely integrates with vBulletin, and if your vBulletin is bridged with Vivvo, I suppose you should be fine.

I also use PhotoPosts Classifieds with vBulletin and it works like a charm. I don't think it has the "commercial" look and feel of iki but at least it FULLY integrates with vBulletin meaning VIVO as well...

Try www.ajclassifieds.net It’s very easy to install and many more features available. It has six classifieds scripts such as real estate, automobile, for sale, personals, jobs and services.
