New Version of Vivvo News and Media Publishing CMS Offers Full Mac/Safari Compatibility and a Range of New Exciting Features for Busy Webmasters and Developers

(PRWeb) November 8, 2006 (http://www.prweb.com/releases/2006/11/prweb472616.htm)

Spoonlabs has just released version 3.4 of their popular AJAX-powered Vivvo news management software, offering fully automated news feed importing and search engine optimization capabilities as free additions to the package.

Here we go :)

After a while, a new version is released. Minor update, but important one IMO. The two things I'd like to emphasize are full MAC/Safari support, and new, totally FREE plug-in: Newsfeed Importer. Yes, you asked for it :) And we decided to make it free and standard part of the bundle.

Other updates and configurable menu (now easily configured to be horizontal/vertical), more sections (boxes), and above all... TOTALLY different look & feel!

1024px is de-facto standard in news and media publishing, and we at Vivvo decided to shift our templates in direction where leading media houses in the world go.

With regards to the update, we will start sending download links to all valid license holders today. Please, bear with us and do not clutter our HelpDesk and emails until tomorrow. Be patient a little if you do not receive update links and instructions immediately. We'll attend to all issues at our earliest convenience.

Eagerly looking forward to your comments about this release :)

Excellent news. Looking forward to giving it a try, as I have a new site that I was going to start today :)

Only bit that worries me is the "TOTALLY different look & feel!" bit.

When you get a minute, could you give me an idea of how much upgrading my sites for me would be, please?

Thanks!

Is there some sort of tutorial for us to create templates with so our designers know exactly what to do? How are the templates created? HTML??

Thanks!

Aaron

I've got the upgrade links now, but is there a full package available?

Currently, to build a new site, I have to upload 3.2 (as it's the only full package I have), then upgrade it to 3.25 and apply the hack patch immediately, and then upgrade to 3.4.

There must be an easier way :D

How do I get it?

I'm ftp'ing a site using my system above as we speak - I'll stop if I can get the whole package off you in one go.

Will 3.4 fully support MySQL 5 ? up until now you've been sending me pactches (still can't get 3.25 to work fully).

Also when will you be sending out the update links? Like Elton I'm about to start another new site and as I've given up on 3.25 and all it's patches I would like to start ASAP.

I never received any email regarding the new version and asked support for the download link.

They eventually send it to me but the link is invalid (error 404) so I immediately replied to let them know.

It was yesterday but still no response from them yet?

Have you received an automatic reply from the ticket system? If not, your ticket has never reached us and you will need to send it again. We try very hard to respond to all tickets ASAP, but we have have experiencing occasional problems with the support software. You can also give us a call if you suspect that the ticket has not been received.

We apologize for any delays caused.

Regards.
