ads display question

I would like to display different ad units for each category. I see in your demo that you can insert whatever you want into article full and article short which is partly what I would need.

If for example I have a category called flights and a category called hotels I would like to display different ads in hotels and different ads in flights articles.

I would serve ads with blocks of javascript.

Can this be done in Vivvo and how easy that would be to do especially if I have lots of different categories?

Strange question but this function would be an absolute "must have" if we are going to purchase vivvo as we plan to sell advertising space for each category separately

It can be done easily.

You can create custom category template for each respective category (Templates -> Create new category template), and then assign it to category in Category Management.

This way you can server different blocks of javascript (ad unit) for each category.

Many thanks for the response but that is not what I asked. Doing so would only enable us to display ads in the category window (right?) but if a user clicks on any of the articles they would get the standard article full template whose ads would not be related to the main category??
Example:

mysite.com/hotels (custom category template here which displays proper ads) /hotels-in-spain.htm (you get standard article full template which if changed reflects site wide)

Hmmm difficult to explain but looking at you demo that’s how I see it and understand it?

Also on your login page http://demo.vivvo.net/login.php the form doesn't have "forgot password" function. Is that something that your $200 worth of customization work would cover? And would you be able to create different article full templates for different categories?

Yes, I understand now perfectly what you want. We can create different article full templates for different categories as a customization for your package. Feel free to give us specs of what exactly would you like implemented on sales@vivvo.net.
