I downloaded the zip file for the free trial version: vivvo4.0.3_free_trial.zip. However when clicking on the file it shows nothing there and when hitting the extract button in Windows XP it states:

"windows has blocked access to these files to help protect your computer"

It says that I can right click on the file and go to properties and the click "Unblock" for which I did. I still get the same message that windows is blocking access.

This is the first time I have ever gotten a zip file that windows blocked. Could someone help me out to how I can correct this issue so that I can get going trying out the 21 day free trial.

Look at the .zip file again, is it by any chance Mac version?

Hi there,
I had the same problem,

I ended up using winrar to open the zipped file and then worked fine.

Let me know how you go.

I have the same problem. Windows won't show files and gives the "blocked" error message when I try to extract. I tried unzipping with 7zip, but it gave an error as well. I can get winrar, but not sure why I have to go through all this hassle just to see if I want to buy a product.

Not a good customer experience. Any other solutions, or reasons for this? I have never encountered anything like this.

This seems to be a very common issue with Windows OS: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=YGX&q=windows+has+blocked+access+to+these+files+to+pro tect+your+computer&btnG=Search
