problem with article ordering - Micha, have a look!

Hi,

For admin area i can pull article up or down for orders and it works but it does not work outside (articles dont change orders on page) I tried to look at files: articles_management.php and categories_management.php but could not do anything.

Micha can you please tell me where should i have to look at to fix this?

Not sure what might be the problem.
I suggest you open a support ticket with your FTP and Vivvo administration access and support staff will take a look at it.

Hi micha,

for security of website and server I am not allowed to give out any information and i just need a little help here for finding out the file contains the function of odering articles (up, down) and some other relevants which may affect that.

Well the file is article_management.php, but I can't tell you more because I'm not so experienced in PHP.

I would really suggest you upgrade to Vivvo 4.0.3 because Vivvo 3.x will be supported until April 8th.

the problem is vivvo.4x cannot be customized template as easily as 3.5 that's the reason why i stay with 3.5

For version 4.0 template system is such complicated and i consider is as a degradement.

Hmm, i would not agree with you.
Sure Vivvo 4 is much more complex than 3.5, but when you get inside templates a little bit it gives much much more options for customization and with a little time spent in them, they aren't so hard to change and customize.

Being with Vivvo for almost three years, since it's beginings, I must say when you get over learning curve, Vivvo 4 is the best and most easily to customize.

It's also much more stable and secure than any other Vivvo version.

But than again, everybody have the right for their opinion right? :)
