ADMIN Stats

As i have read many times at this forum and also happens to me it takes too long time to open the admin index page

I have notice that this has to to do with the time needs to read and display the site statistics and as you have more articles (more than 2000-4000) so the time is longer.

My Suggestion is to modify the admin so the stats are not at the admin index but in a separate page with a link to the top menu ("statistics") as is "maintenance" "preferences" "logout" e.t.c. links.

Thanks for suggestion, we're working on optimization routines for 4.1 version.

I try it without Stats at admin index and load the page 100times quiker :):):)

I modify the content.xml at admin/templates/home/ to not disply the stats.

I attach the modified file (is in .txt for upload it, you have to make it .xml) in case someone wants to try;)

ATTENTION: 1. Make always BACKUP your original file before proceed in case that you want to restore it.

2. By this way STATS at your admin home page will not displayed
