Question About Absolute URLs

I read in the User Manual that you can enter the absolute URL of the article. My question is if this ability to use an absolute URL works even if you cannot enable the search-engine friendly URLs option because your server does not use Apache.

Unfortunately no. Friendly URLs can work only on Apache server with mod_rewrite module installed.
