Videos in site

Hi,

Some of the popular sites has a video section, and a strip in home page that shows "video of the day" or "most popular / rated videos".

I have some video's in site.
Usually, I upload them as normal article.

But the question is, how can they be set apart from text only article?

1. I dont want to put the in specific category because they are related to many categories.
2. You can give them a specific tag but then you cant do "most popular" from this.

Any ideas?

You probably can't put them in "most popular", but you can have "most popular videos" for example. Why would you mix popular articles and popular videos if your starting point is to separate videos from articles? :D

I think using a dedicated tag for videos is a good option, just move from there.
