Due to copyright issues, a lot of websites will not allow you to, basically, copy/paste their story on to your website.
Something I would like to suggest is that there be an option to have just a title and summary of a story, but have the link of the title go to an outside website.

Two ways you can do this:
1. Use the feed plug in. That's exactly what it does.
2. Enter a URL in the article, so it links to an outside site.

Also, you can always edit the template so that the article title (on the category summary page) links to the URL you have entered into the article, rather than to the main article page. This way, everything in the category summary listing will link outside instead of to article pages.
Vivvo is actually very flexible, it just takes some tinkering to get things done.

For some reason, the feed plugin doesn't seem to work in the current version. Furthermore, adding a feed adds ALL of the stories from that feed, not just specific ones.
2. Enter a URL in the article, so it links to an outside site.
I could do that, but I am just creating an additional step that the user has to take.

The problem at that point would be that every article would try to link to an outside site, even the ones that are on my site.
There's another piece of software out there, called Article Manager, that allows you to make a story a:
1. Summary Only
2. Summary with link to an outside site, or a
3. Full Story
That's what I am suggesting that Vivvo add. And I'm sure that it would only take a few lines of code to do, and a button or two to be added to the article entry page.
