I asked this in Presales. But I want to know how you guys do it. Do you guys install in root or subdirectory?

I usually install scripts into subdirectory so as not to clutter the root and it's easier to manage multiple scripts on the same domain.

I want Vivvo to show up in root but I want to install in domain.com/vivvo/. I don't want to use a redirect.

boccio suggested this method http://www.vivvo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1380

I'm thinking if there is a better way. For example, Wordpress has this feature where you can install it in its own directory. It will be great if we can do that for Vivvo http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

What's your solution? How you guys show Vivvo in root?

Or, did all of you just install in root?

I'm having Vivvo in root... see no special reason to keep it in sub-folder, I'm not havin 20 scripts on my site :)

Ironically, I asked Support the same question yesterday. Root is full of many other folders and files that suit other tasks, I think it would be wise to have Vivvo in its own folder. Please let us know how to accomplish this for the long haul.

Looks good. Thanks elderban.

Will that method only affect Vivvo files? So other scripts in other sub-directories are not affected.

What's Vivvo Devs comment on this? Will it affect other things?

If Vivvo is in it's own subdirectory it has no effect on scripts in other directories. Period.
