**JavaScript for Webmasters**

If "Article Summary" is selected, it displays the full story with the Javascript output. We wish to display only few words from the first paragraph as in RSS Feed.

Please advise how to do it.

Yes, you're right. We'll attend to this in few days, with next minor release that is about to be launched (v3.4)

Would it not also be nice and easy to add an option to display full text via the javascript feed?

Before you made the changes the script "in error" displayed the full article even while "show summary" was selected.

Problem is that I need full article at some places and summary at other places.

(A workaround is to use the old show_webfeed.php for the "wrong' full text and the new script at second file show_webfeed2.php to show the summary)

JavaScript feeds will no longer be supported (from version 3.5), due to security risks. Instead, we updated RSS to RSS 2.0, and introduced Atom as alternative.
