I noted that when the site closed option is enabled, it is also closed to admins. Is there a statement I can add to help an admin get around this?
In Joomla, for example, when the site closed option is on, visitors can't see the site. Admins, however, who access the site via the admin link, can still see the site although a message at the top is present reminding them the site is closed.
The reason this would be so valuable is for updates when I move changes from Dev to live. I'd rather have the site down for a few minutes, do a quick review, then turn it back on.
I assume this could be a quick matter of adding a statement into the header.tpl or some other universal template. Will this work?
