From December 10, we are introducing a new promotional deal - 10% discount for upgrade to Developer license. This deal is specially designed for those demanding Vivvo users who are ready to upgrade their status to the Developer license and get unlimited number of domains as well as special Developer's privileges, such as priority support and discounted customization rate. To take advantage of this promotional deal, please contact our Sales department (sales@vivvo.net) with your client area ID (or email).
Excuse me but what priority support?
I have a developer license since May 2006 but never experience any priority support at all.
In fact I cannot even login to the client area and a forum post in this regard is still unanswered since 7 December 2007.

Don't promise something that you cannot deliver guys.

Frank, I'm sorry you feel this way.
The thread you mention (http://www.vivvo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2055), where you complained about not being able to login to client area is answered - by @apocan. He asked you if you have submitted a form for upgrading to new client/licensing mechanism - and you didn't answer to that, right?
Besides, the complete upgrading procedure was very clearly explained:
FAQ: Upgrade to 4.0 (http://www.vivvo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1469)
Did you read this?
Finally, if you feel you never experienced any priority support at all, I'd like to hear what exactly you feel was not carried out as promised in our SLA? Please, just stick to the facts.

I have/had many problems with my sites since more than 6 months, and sometime I haven't any mood to looking at the forum and submit a ticket, and thanks for everybody in Vivvo I get always answer.
So, the Vivvo support team is really great :)

You are right so I will just stick to the facts.
1) I have a developer license since May 2006
2) Vivvo decided to change their systems and as a result I am unable to login to the client area.
3) I never received any notice that Vivvo will remove me (and other clients) from the system and that we, Vivvo's clients, must resiter ourselves again or submit a form or whatever.
I am sorry but if Vivvo switched to a new system it is their responsibility to at least import their "priority" clients into the new system, make it as easy as possible for their clients or at the very least inform clients about the whole issue.
Do you really expect each of your clients, including the "priority" clients, to go to your website, discover that their email no longer exist on the new system and then search everywhere until they somehow figured out what is going on?

Frank, I think we can conclude that your biggest distress is why you haven't been shifted to the new licensing/client system automatically or at least notified in some “priority” manner.
We introduced the new ordering system in October, with the launch of 4.0 version. When this happened, we rang all the bells, including email notifications to all clients, website announcements, forum announcements, FAQs and upgrade paths for all our users. We conducted major update of our software, website, ordering/licensing system and support system. All these changes had a single goal: making our software, support, communication with clients and ease of accessing information much easier and comprehensive.
And all you had to do is spend two minutes filling a single website form with updated information about yourself we needed in order to transfer old clients to new system.
Sadly, I can’t help noticing that you’re actually the only one having issues with the way we handled this.

Maybe it would be much easier to simply ANSWER the original post because after many days I STILL don't have access to the client area.
I actually stopped to use Vivvo at all but your last special that claim "priority" support for developers leave a little bit of bad taste seeing the FACT that a developer with so called "priority" support STILL waiting days for access to the client area after being deleted by Vivvo themselves.
Maybe you are right that I am the only one complaining but then most people will not even bother any further at all after they was removed from the client area.
Is it really so DIFFICULT for Vivvo to import their clients, that they deleted themselves from the old system, into the new system, or to simply ANSWER my original post. (Instead than to put the blame on the client as you now do)

As you can see from the original post I merely post to enquiry about the fact that I cannot login and you can only blame yourself for ignoring that post for several days.

Hello,
Frankc, did you submit your information to the form? If not then here's the address http://www.vivvo.net/upgrade_license.php
I understand most of that time the developers do all the work for us but sometimes it's more efficient for users to do a bit of "work". I'm sorry if you are having problems with support, buddy.

Frank, I believe I explained everything that seemed vague, but for some reason you keep insisting on things you were already answered.
Maybe it would be much easier to simply ANSWER the original post because after many days I STILL don't have access to the client area.
And I'm afraid you won't get access for as long as you refuse to fill out a simple form. Which brings us to another issue, and perhaps the point to this entire argument:
Is it really so DIFFICULT for Vivvo to import their clients, that they deleted themselves from the old system, into the new system
We cannot IMPORT anything, because in the old days we did not collect not even half of the clients' data needed for the new system, and we can not import something we do not have. If we could make the simple and seamless transition, we surely would. However, the easiest and most efficient way was to ask our clients to spend two minutes filling up a simple web form.
Maybe you are right that I am the only one complaining but then most people will not even bother any further at all after they was removed from the client area.
Actually, there weren't removed from anywhere - we did not have a client area before 4.0 version. I really think you're missing some key points here... Besides, trust me - if someone spends a thousand dollars on a software, he/she will complain about almost anything. At least I would. Then again, it is pointless arguing about this.
As you can see from the original post I merely post to enquiry about the fact that I cannot login and you can only blame yourself for ignoring that post for several days.Your post was not ignored. You received an adequate answer in timely manner, which you chose to ignore. The fact you were not answered by Vivvo staff, but one of senior members does not make the answer any less valid. If, by any chance, the answer you received was misleading or inadequate - a member of Vivvo staff would react immediately, as we do always.
These forums are endorsed by us, and as much as we love having our members and community helping each other, we closely monitor all threads and react if needed.
At the end, I have no other option but to conclude that you got simply angry because you were not answered by myself personally?

The reply by a forum member simply states whether I filled in the FORM and I simply don't had the time to search the whole Vivvo site to find such "form"
I now filled in the appropriate form after you supplied the link to it thank you but please take note that my developer license IS older than 12 months but that bring me to other issue.
According your sales department as well as terms and conditions, before and at the time I purchased the developer license.
"The Developer license grants Private Labeling (meaning you can brand the site as your own and remove “powered by phpWordPress”), unlimited installs (on as many sites as you want), all the available plug-ins and lifetime support and upgrades."
Seems for me that the lifetime support and upgrades agreement are now changed to $245 per year?

Frank, its really a bad habit always trying to find something to be unhappy about :)
The Developer license was on a special promotion when it appeared, with lifetime support/upgrades. Whoever took that opportunity and purchased, has lifetime upgrades.
I'm wondering what will be next :)

Ironically the SAME issue.
Was too busy to earn a living to take care of some websites but now that I want to develop a site for my son (that leaved school December) and wanted to download latest version of Vivvo, I discover that my "lifetime" upgrade expired oeps.
Would be exiting to see what changes was made since I last used the software maybe year or so ago.

Frank, I seriously think you should loosen up a little bit.
Relax, don't think everything in your life is some sort of scam... Don't play Calimero (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calimero) game, there's no point in that, really:)
For example, you could just submit a support ticket to support@vivvo.net saying you have lifetime support/upgrades and that there's some problem with that in the client area - boys and girls will surely take care of that within minutes.
Enjoy the life a bit more...

Trust me - lots of great, wonderful changes :) We have $50 off for Standard license (now only $145), tons of new plugins, new 4.1 version has some major improvements... 4.2 is on its way.
You'll love it, I'm sure :)

It was a tong in the cheek post when I realised the irony that, when I after all this time came back and see that you asked what's next, the what's next is actually the same issue after all haha.
I just read the forum posts to come a bit up to date with happenings etc and came across this one so... (Otherwise I would most likely already opened a ticket)
My son is by the way not very interested in the internet so I hope the site I am going to build with Vivvo will help to change that.
