Same here, I don't see any new thread started on the site that says a new patch has been released. And only that link you posted indicates a new patch has been released. I get the same as the other guy. "You don't have permission to view".

You've not posted this on a hidden staff forum board have you?

Checkout the image I have attached. Also you need to change the size of image dimentions allowed for upload. Currently you have it setup for GIF and JPG to be no larger than 620X280 pixels. 280 pixels high is not large enough when people want to post screenshots of problems. It gets re-sized to 280 high and makes the image hard to view when they are re-sized to 280 high. Change it to something standard like "800 wide X 600 high" for all image attachments.

Not staff, this is released in Developer forum.

4.0.2 is released as RC (candidate version), and therefore not posted publicly yet on site/forum, except on Developer forum. It will be announced next week, when it becomes official.

IE poll fix

Can I ask, the line I have quoted above, did that have anything to do with fixing the problem "when you have cache enabled and have already voted on a vote, the poll seems to display vote options to you again at some point".

Im asking because I have installed the patch, and that problem still exists. Take a look at the image I have attached. Even though I had already voted, the vote poll options to vote again are being displayed to me. When I choose to vote again. Instead of it showing me the results, it shows this image instead.

If you're referring to this (http://www.vivvo.net/forums/project.php?issueid=84) bug report, then I must say it wasn't fixed in 4.0.2

It was reported on Nov 15th, and by that day we already closed down 4.0.2 and started testing it so it couldn't get inside... This and all other bug reports in last week will be addressed in 4.0.3

Installed the patch, I've just also re-installed again to make sure the files were uploaded correctly in ACII mode the first time etc. And now on the main "Article Page" (where you view all the articles) in the admin section. I now have a "Yellow Triangle" on the bottom left of my browser that indicates an error for that page.

Which was not there before applying the patch

We cannot reproduce this, can you open a support ticket so we can take a look at your site?

What IE version are u using?

I'm running 4.0.2 RC patch and on my Vista/IE7 there is no JS error...

I'm using IE6.

But I have currently removed Vivvo from my site for now, there are other issues that exist in Vivvo 4 that I have posted and reported. Such as these below.

1: Article Large and Article Small (image dimentions). Are not being used on the site anywhere. Currently they are two obsolete settings.
2: Images included in Articles are not deleted from the files folder when an article is removed and deleted itself, that contains a image (which should also be removed from the server).
3: Problem with Vote Poll when cache is enabled (you can vote, then later you are shown the option to vote again), which doesn't work because you have already voted once whe you try to vote again.

4: Some templates are using WC3 Strict as WC3 Markup from what I've seen, yet they are not WC3 Strict by a long way. For example you are using the "target=" tag in image URLS. which is not allowed in WC3 Strict. So why validate a page as WC3 Strict, when it should be WC3 Transitional instead.

I won't go on, but other little issues I've come across makes me feel Vivvo 4.0 is just not ready yet for full use on my server. I hope things get sorted as I do think Vivvo is a great CMS product and look forward to seeing these issues put right in the future.
