Hi,
Your solution is by far the most effective, as I checked a lot so far. What I'm interested in is Developer license, and sub-licensing (private labeling) like Interspire and Interactivetools have. Couldn't read about it, do you allow rebranding and sub-licensing for dev. license holders?

Yes, rebranding is available by default to Developer license holders. Also, you can transfer the licenses to 3rd party (sub-license) the sites you create with phpWordPress as long as you do not resell the software itself, or generate turn-key sites.
You can read more on license agreement page:

I too am interested in the developer version, since I have 15 sites and plan on building more (Dreamweaver is too much work now.) :)
But, I would like some clarification on what was said above. I don't know where it fits.
I don't make turn-key sites, nor do I build sites for other people, etc. But, say I want to sell a site of mine that uses "Vivvo Article Manager". Can I sell the site/business I have created?
I mean I want to retire one day and sell off my years of work. :)
The way I read it, is that I can sell the site and they receive a sub-license, but not a copy of the software (just what's installed on the server).
Please help me understand.
Thanks,
Troy
P.S. I just read the license agreement. It states:
"You may not distribute the product with more than 10 copies of an identical or similarly-functioning ("shrink-wrapped") solution or application."
I know this is to protect you guys against vultures of your software, but what consitutes "shrink-wrapped"?
Does that mean doing 10 sites on say, "Raising Birds"? (I know there are those lame people that do that on eBay.)
All of my sites are a different theme, but follow the same design. (For example: Health food site, PS2 games site, Home arcade site, Parrot raising site, etc.
Thanks again.
Hi,
We are no lawyers here, but we think that in your case Vivvo license would cover the sales of the sites you've developed. Basically, as long as you don't start selling copies of Vivvo to third party you should be ok. So, you can resell your websites, but cannot sell copies of "shrink-wrapped" solutions, which doesn't seem to be the case here. We truly believe that Vivvo Developer's license is the best deal on the CMS market, and we would like to keep license limitations to the bare minimum.
Thanks for your interest in Vivvo. Let's us know if you have anu further questions.

Absolutely.

Yes, you got it right.
"You may not distribute the product with more than 10 copies of an identical or similarly-functioning ("shrink-wrapped") solution or application."

Well, in a nutshell it goes down to: buy a domain name + install the default Vivvo = sell the site.
All of my sites are a different theme, but follow the same design. (For example: Health food site, PS2 games site, Home arcade site, Parrot raising site, etc.
This is perfectly fine.
If there's anything else we can do to help, just let us know.

What about if we own a web design company and wish to use on on our clients websites? Can we just use the Developer's version or do we need to buy a license for each website we design for each different client?
Thanks guys!

Aaron,
That is exactly what Developer license is for. It's primarily targeted towards developers and web design companies who want to have a solid and supported solution to use on their clients' sites.
