I've noticed something strange which is begining to bug :(

I publish articles which include " marks - I publish the article, all looks fine but then a few days laters the " marks turn into different characters?

You will notice that the " marks turn into €™ –

Having shot to Number 1 with ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ – one of the definitive albums of the year – and dominated airwaves this summer, Hard-Fi return on November 12th with the blazing new single ‘Can’t Get Along (Without You)’.

What is the problem?

I am not sure how this happened.
Did you change the article after that?

Berto,

I'll take a guess. It might have to do with the type of quotation marks you are using. We had the same problem with another CMS, and it turned out that fancy quotation marks-- the curly kind-- would render with that gibberish you were talking about. The straight quotation marks did not have the problem. I think the curly kind are called high ascii characters and the plain are low ascii characters. Why the high ascii characters mess things up under some circumstances I don't know.

If you are using Word to write your articles, you might want to try changing your font to one that uses the low ascii characters before you paste to your WYSIWYG editor. I think Veranda is one. Times Roman uses the fancy quotation marks, so don't use it.

This is just a guess at what might be wrong, but it might be a place to start looking.
