Can't get VB integrated

I've tried every possible combination i can think of, but can't seem to get it working:

VB URL: www.forums.(site name).com
VB FS Root: public_html/forums

any ideas?

this works only if you have subdomain called forums.sitename

Otherwise the correct link is www.sitename.com/forums

thats the way its set up, as a subdomian.....every time I try to install it, it tells me VB can't be found at the path specified.

VB plugin can not be used if your vBulletin is on other domain/subdomain. We are unable to transver cookies tought domains for security reasons.
