Hello,
When can we expect for a release of new templates (free or paid) for Vivvo 4.0 ?
Thanks
Soon, we're already in process of creating them and will make gallery section available once we have few templates ready.

The latest release of Vivvo is promising and considered a big milestone over the older versions, but I'm against including 1 or 2 basic templates with the software and selling new ones for $69 or so. I expected Spoonlabs to include a bunch of eye-catching skins with Vivvo 4 for free, at least to compete with other similar tools out there, but I'm very disappointed with the current situation
I believe you guys didn't learn well the big lesson behind making Phpcow, Wordpress, Joomla and few other CMS very popular in a very short time, despite their features, stability and usefulness!
Please be patient with the new templates, they are in the works. We just launched a new version of Vivvo less than a month ago and we will be adding free new templates in the coming months. We are committed to providing the best possible value for money CMS on the market, but we need time. Stay tuned and you will not be disappointed.

We're looking at a slighty bigger picture here at Spoonlabs. I'm fully aware of importance of "eye catching" templates, but we have other plans on our agenda.
One of most important milestone in our internal roadmap for Q4 2007 and Q1 2008 is creating powerful resources and repository section for Vivvo. This is a much greater task than just creating shiny skins, and apart from more free skins (templates), it also includes full layout sets (blogging set, 2-col, 3-col, etc), widgets (boxes), photo gallery and much more.
Of course, as Mark said - it needs time. But eventually, I'm sure our community will realize that we're on something bigger and much more useful than just providing few free templates :)
